One of the pioneers of the Northern Rhone, Pierre Gaillard produces a wide range of wines of exceptionally high quality. He created Domaine Cottebrune in Faugeres in 2007. The steep hillsides are at high altitude with the Cevennes in the background and a panorama extending from the Pyrenees through to Montpellier.

10 hectares on high-altitude schist in the foothills of the Massif Central. Agriculture raisonnée.
Fermented in barrel. Aged on lees.
White flowers, citrus, and stone fruit with mineral notes. Round and textured with good acidity.
10 hectares on high-altitude schist terroir. Agriculture raisonnée.
Traditional vinification. Aged in French oak barrels.
Dark fruit, garrigue, and mineral notes from the schist terroir. Full-bodied with firm tannins and a long, spicy finish.
