Château Chéreau

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Château Chéreau is a family-owned vineyard in the Lussac-Saint-Émilion appellation of Bordeaux, run by the Silvestrini family since 1958. It produces high-quality, sustainably farmed red wines (HVE certification) known for their ruby color, black fruit, and spice notes. The estate is currently managed by Sabine Silvestrini and spans 30 hectares, producing Merlot-dominant wines.

TERROIR & VINEYARD

Limestone and clay soils typical of Saint-Émilion. Guyot training.

VINIFICATION

Fermentation 10-15 days in cement and stainless steel. Malolactic in tank. 12-14 months in French oak (600L and 1-2 year old).

TASTING NOTES

Rich and complex with concentrated black fruits, vanilla, spice, and a floral edge. Structured with good aging potential.
