Clos San Quilico was founded by the marriage of the Orenga de Gaffory and Piazza-Alessandrini families. They own 35 hectares in the appellation of Patrimonio, which is the oldest and most well-known appellation in Corsica. Their vineyards are planted to the Niellucio (Sangiovese), Vermentino, and Grenache. They use traditional winemaking practices and do not use of fertilizers or chemical pesticides – organic certification is pending. Philippe Rideau is the current winemaker.
