➔ ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Bodegas Comenge is a family-owned winery located in the heart of Spain’s Ribera del Duero region. Founded in 1999 by Jaime Comenge, the estate is known for its commitment to organic viticulture and sustainable winemaking, blending traditional methods with modern innovation. Comenge wine is made from grapes grown on the winery’s 15 vineyards located in the municipalities of Curiel de Duero and Pesquera, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero region. All of these vineyards are cultivated using best practices in organic viticulture. The diverse soils and orientations of our vineyards allow the wine to reflect the unique character of each vintage.

TERROIR & VINEYARD

Certified organic. Limestone soils at Los Silos and Carrapiñel in Pesquera de Duero.

VINIFICATION

Temperature-controlled fermentation. Aged in tank.

TASTING NOTES

Fresh and fruit-forward with ripe red and dark berries. Medium-bodied with smooth tannins and a lively finish.

Comenge Ribera del Duero Don Miguel
TERROIR & VINEYARD

Certified organic. 870m altitude with a unique mosaic of soil textures.

VINIFICATION

Extended aging in French oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES

Complex dark fruit, spice, and toasty oak. Full-bodied with velvety tannins and a long, structured finish.

Comenge Ribera del Duero El Origen
TERROIR & VINEYARD

Certified organic. 17 micro-parcels between Curiel de Duero and Pesquera on clay and limestone slopes.

VINIFICATION

Temperature-controlled fermentation. Aged 14-16 months in French oak.

TASTING NOTES

Primary red and black fruit with licorice notes. Fresh acidity with sweet, juicy tannins. Elegant and expressive.

VINIFICATION

Extended aging 24-28 months in French oak (50% new).

TASTING NOTES

Deep and concentrated with dark fruit, spice, leather, and mineral. Full-bodied with silky tannins and exceptional length.

Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel.
